The Bearcats Rolled to their first victory of 2023 and the first victory of many under New Head Coach, Robby Jones! The Bearcats avenged one of the two losses last season, beating a tough and championship caliber Parish Episcopal by a score of 50-35!
The A GAME Players of the Week:
Offense- Ray Guillory
Defense-Davhon Keys
Ray started the season off for the bearcats with a 75 yard run to the house for the first TD of the season. It just so happened to be the first play of the game! He ended up leading the explosive offense with 3 total tds.
Keys kept making momentum changing plays all night, with my favorite play of the game being his pick 6. One of his two interception I may mention.
Bearcats looked good for the season opener. Lets go win 12!
